Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned it may target a major AI data center in Abu Dhabi linked to OpenAI, signaling an escalation in threats against U.S.-connected infrastructure in the region.

In a video statement, IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari said that any damage to Iran’s power infrastructure would be met with retaliation against U.S. and Israeli facilities.

The footage reportedly included satellite-style visuals zooming into Abu Dhabi, highlighting what was claimed to be the location of a large data center, alongside a message suggesting such sites cannot remain hidden.

The warning follows earlier reports of attacks affecting regional infrastructure and threats directed at multiple U.S. tech companies operating in the Middle East, indicating a potential expansion of targets beyond traditional military and energy sites.
